Northern homes

ARKIIVI looks back to a time when Nordic homes were dressed in textiles that reflected their surroundings — crafted by family members, or local artisans. Each village had its own patterns and techniques, sharing ideas and inspiration with neighbours.

Today, Arkiivi continues that story. We offer an alternative to the anonymous and mass-produced — choosing instead European craftsmanship that lasts, rooted in our local traditions, brought back to suit modern homes. Our designs are rediscovered from forgotten Nordic textiles, and production takes place here in our part of the world. Quality and sustainability are the cornerstones of everything we create.

Just as in the old Nordic communities, we believe the northern homes should again celebrate the local textile heritage — made from durable natural materials, designed to last for generations.
